    About the role#

    CNA Corporation offers an internship program for students to work within our corporate business unit. You will join the Chief Information Office team to learn security operations and assist with ongoing projects.

    What you'll do#

    • Monitor security alerts, incidents, and requests using ticketing systems and group mailboxes.
    • Help develop, review, and maintain security policies and standards based on NIST, CMMC, and CORA guidelines.
    • Support incident response by documenting events and coordinating with senior analysts.
    • Assist with compliance programs and cross-functional audits.
    • Respond to security inquiries and educate users on best practices.
    • Participate in security training initiatives and collaborate with internal stakeholders.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment in a junior or final year of a bachelor’s degree, or a graduate program in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering.
    • Experience with Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
    • Strong organizational and critical thinking skills.
    • Clear oral and written communication skills.
    • Previous relevant coursework or experience is preferred.

    Location & details#

    • This is a full-time, paid, on-site position located in Arlington, Virginia.
    • The internship follows a rolling term schedule.
