About the role#
The Analytics Intern supports business functions through project-based assignments focused on data accuracy, reporting enhancements, and operational efficiency. You will work extensively with Excel to update reports, validate data, and assist with automation initiatives. This role is a full-time, paid, six-month experience that offers exposure to corporate projects, mentorship, and networking opportunities.
What you'll do#
- Accurately update and maintain Excel-based reports to ensure data integrity and consistency.
- Trace, audit, and troubleshoot formulas to verify calculations and proper linkage across worksheets.
- Identify opportunities for automation and support basic workflow improvements.
- Conduct research on healthcare trends relevant to your business function.
- Manage multiple tasks and complete assigned projects within the internship timeline.
- Attend and contribute to team meetings and support day-to-day initiatives.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate degree program in healthcare management, business administration, accounting, finance, or human resources.
- Sophomore, junior, or senior standing is preferred, with a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data validation.
- Intermediate proficiency in Word and PowerPoint.
- Ability to manage data with precision, demonstrate strong follow-up skills, and work independently.
- Experience with SharePoint administration and support.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Location & details#
- This is a remote position.
- The internship is full-time and lasts for six months.
- Pay is $20.00 to $25.00 per hour, depending on location and experience.
- Benefits include a discretionary 401k match, subject to employment status.
