About the role#
The Construction Operations Intern works with the Project Delivery and Operations Support teams to track project progress. You will monitor metrics like client submittals, physical work in place, and schedule performance. This role focuses on learning project documentation processes within construction ERP systems. You will gain experience in client submittal procedures and understand how construction management is measured.
What you'll do#
- Support Quality personnel using the Quality Management System.
- Manage and review daily foremen reports to ensure accurate data entry.
- Monitor material yields and adjust operations to reduce waste.
- Assist with the buyout process, write requisitions, and share information with the Project Team.
- Help the Project Management team process and track paperwork, including submittals, RFIs, invoices, and labor cost reports.
- Assist in preparing 12-month cash flow schedules and updating budgets for owner change orders.
- Help develop Four Week Look Ahead schedules with Superintendents.
- Collaborate with the Safety team to ensure compliance with health regulations and site safety plans.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor degree program for Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field at an accredited US college or university.
- US Citizenship is required.
- Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, P6 Primavera, HCSS, JD Edwards, and Expedition software.
- Familiarity with estimating, engineering, cost tracking systems, and site surveying.
- Strong organizational, teamwork, and communication skills.

- Location: The home office is in Orlando, Florida, but actual work occurs at project sites within the continental United States.
