About the role#
As an Excess Casualty Intern, you will join our team for a 12-week summer program. You will work on real projects while receiving guidance from our leadership and staff. This role provides exposure to the underwriting life cycle and helps you build a foundation for your career in insurance.
What you'll do#
- Communicate with brokers, vendors, and underwriting team members.
- Prepare accounts for modeling.
- Draft quotes and binders.
- Handle policy issuance, including coordinating with drafting teams.
- Process and issue endorsements.
- Manage account status updates within our systems.
- Support internal controls and audit processes.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor's or master's degree program, preferably in Finance or Business Administration.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Availability to work 40 hours per week.
- Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

- This is a paid, full-time internship for Summer 2027.
- The role is based on-site in Atlanta, GA, Cincinnati, OH, or Scottsdale, AZ.
