About the role#
Covestro offers engineering internships at our New Martinsville, West Virginia site. You will join the Thermoplastic Polyurethane or Performance Materials units for a 12-week program starting in mid-May 2027. This is a full-time, paid, on-site role that provides exposure to manufacturing operations, product chemistry, and business applications.
What you'll do#
- Identify, initiate, and supervise process improvement projects to optimize production capacity.
- Support the development and implementation of capital projects.
- Implement Management of Change for process improvements.
- Help implement system improvements for mechanical reliability.
- Work with teams across research, technology, and engineering to support internal projects.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Bachelor degree program for Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Chemistry.
- Completion of at least your freshman year.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Ability to work on-site in New Martinsville.
