About the role#
The Student Care Case Manager provides holistic, student-centered support to undergraduate and professional students. This role operates under the Jesuit value of cura personalis, or care for the whole person. You will work with students to create strengths-based plans that promote academic success and personal wellbeing. This is a full-time, on-site position.
What you'll do#
- Partner with students to navigate complex personal, mental health, academic, financial, housing, or social challenges.
- Conduct assessments and develop support and accountability plans.
- Coordinate campus and community resources to assist students.
- Monitor student progress and help those returning to campus after a leave of absence.
- Collaborate with campus partners and maintain accurate documentation.
- Evaluate program outcomes and contribute to student wellbeing initiatives.
What you'll need#
- A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work is required, and a Master’s degree is preferred.
- 1-3 years of case management experience, ideally with college-aged populations.
- Experience using electronic health records and case management systems.
- Knowledge of higher education case management, HECMA/CAS standards, and FERPA regulations.
- Strong skills in communication, collaboration, conflict resolution, and advocacy.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations.
