About the role#
This winter internship provides exposure to the audit profession through a full-time, hands-on experience. You will work closely with experienced professionals to understand day-to-day audit responsibilities and gain insight into issues affecting the industry. This role requires a commitment of 40 hours per week from January through March.
What you'll do#
- Analyze client financials, transactions, and internal control processes.
- Use advanced analytics, data visualizations, and process flow automation tools to evaluate client data.
- Collaborate with diverse teams on engagements across industries like manufacturing, healthcare, government, and financial services.
- Participate in benefit plan audits, including 401(k) and pension plans.
- Work both independently and as part of a team to deliver audit services.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or a similar field.
- Must be on track to meet educational requirements for CPA licensure.
- Proficiency with Excel.
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with data analytics is strongly desired.
- Ability to prioritize tasks across multiple assignments.
- Availability to work or travel during evenings and weekends if necessary.
