About the role#
This is an 11-week full-time summer internship designed to provide real work experience within the general management function. You will join a team to lead or contribute to specific projects while gaining exposure to key business lines. The program runs from May 24, 2027, through August 6, 2027. Successful participants are positioned for consideration for future full-time roles, including the General Management Development Program.
What you'll do#
- Lead or contribute to assigned projects that support business success.
- Collaborate on business assessments, process improvement, and strategic planning.
- Build your knowledge of the healthcare system.
- Participate in professional development workshops and mentorship opportunities.
- Engage in networking and career exploration activities.
- Interact with senior leaders and contribute to community service activities.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Public Health, Marketing, Human Resources, Communications, or Psychology.
- An anticipated graduation date between December 2027 and July 2028.
- Demonstrated leadership experience through student organizations, sports, or work projects.
- A willingness to relocate to the office locations provided.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Note that work visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
Location & details#
- This is a hybrid position. You will work from the office on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
- Office locations: Hartford, Connecticut; Woonsocket, Rhode Island; or Dallas, Texas.
- This is a paid position at $26 per hour for 40 hours per week.
- Relocation stipends are provided to qualifying interns.
