About the role#
As a Process Engineering Intern, you will support the daily technical needs of our production environment. You will work alongside engineers to monitor processes, resolve routine issues, and contribute to projects focused on quality, efficiency, and reliability. This role provides hands-on experience in a manufacturing setting while you assist the team with essential technical tasks.
What you'll do#
- Support engineering staff with data collection, process observations, and basic analysis on production lines.
- Draft, update, and organize SOPs, work instructions, and process documentation.
- Participate in engineering projects such as equipment upgrades, workflow improvements, and process optimization trials.
- Prepare materials and records for process studies and improvement initiatives.
- Assist with troubleshooting by gathering information and documenting issues.
- Track KPIs, update dashboards, and prepare summary reports for the engineering team.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Quality, Production, and Maintenance.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a rising junior or senior in a Bachelor’s degree program for Mechanical, Industrial, Civil, Biomedical, Chemical, or Electrical Engineering.
- A basic understanding of manufacturing processes, engineering principles, and problem-solving methodologies.
- Ability to collect, organize, and interpret data.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with CAD or CAM tools is a plus.

- Compensation: Paid position at $25.00 per hour.
