About the role#
This internship offers hands-on training within our Manufacturing Engineering team. You will learn to program CNC machines used to produce parts in a manufacturing environment. You will work with coaching and close supervision to build foundational skills in CAM programming, program editing, and machining process documentation.
What you'll do#
- Build skills in CAM programming and program editing.
- Create basic machining process documentation.
- Observe and support shop-floor prove-outs.
- Learn how CNC programs translate into safe and repeatable production.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a degree or certificate in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Technology, Mechatronics, or CNC Machining.
- Basic understanding of CNC machining principles and G-code.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and basic GD&T.
- Familiarity with CAM software, including academic experience.
