About the role#
Join the Enterprise Virtual Cellular Network (EVCN) team at Ericsson as a DevOps Engineering Intern. You will explore how modern cloud architectures and 5G connectivity support telecom-grade solutions. This position is based in Montreal for an 8-month term starting January 11, 2027.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with the engineering team to automate build, test, and deployment workflows using GitLab CI.
- Assist in setting up, maintaining, and deploying applications with Kubernetes and Helm charts.
- Contribute to monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure application reliability.
- Maintain and optimize cloud infrastructure and Terraform IaC templates.
- Participate in team stand-ups, code reviews, and DevOps projects.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's program in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering with at least one semester remaining.
- Interest in DevOps, system reliability, or cloud engineering.
- Basic knowledge of coding or scripting in languages such as Python or Bash.
- Familiarity with Git version control.
- Curiosity about CI/CD and cloud tools.
- Motivation to learn from mentors and solve technical problems.
- Fluency in both French and English is required for this role.
