About the role#
This co-op position involves analyzing, preparing, implementing, and verifying the configuration and integration of nodes, networks, and systems. You will work on software product deployment for Cloud Infrastructure, including upgrades, expansions, and new functionality. This role requires working in Ericsson labs as well as customer production environments.
What you'll do#
- Plan software product deployment and integration work for Cloud Infrastructure.
- Perform software installation, configuration, integration, and migration tasks.
- Prepare, document, and execute module, end-to-end, and acceptance tests.
- Troubleshoot issues, identify defects, and fix or resolve them.
- Perform occasional scripting and coding.
- Identify and drive improvements to products or internal processes.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor's or master's program in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- A minimum GPA of 2.7 on a 4.0 scale or equivalent.
- Understanding of software deployment processes, including installation, configuration, and testing.
- Knowledge of TCP/IP networking principles and protocols.
- Familiarity with operating system concepts, specifically Linux.
- Understanding of Cloud Platform concepts, such as virtualization and containerization.
- Knowledge of tools for CI/CD, automation, DevOps, and software configuration management.
- Familiarity with Agile delivery processes and technologies like Kubernetes and Docker.

- Locations: Mississauga and Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
- Work Modality: Hybrid.
- Employment Status: Full-time (40 hours per week).
- Duration: 3 months.
