About the role#
In this position, you will join the team developing the 5G Core portfolio at Ericsson. You will contribute to a carrier-grade, cloud-native, and high-performance Packet Core network. This work helps communication providers automate their networks and optimize resources to deliver services for consumer and enterprise use cases.
What you'll do#
- Assist in the development and testing of microservices using cloud-native architecture principles.
- Participate in Continuous Integration processes for product development.
- Write design documentation, including component descriptions and use case modeling.
- Support troubleshooting efforts for issues assigned to your team.
- Participate in Agile team activities, such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, demos, feature grooming, and retrospectives.
What you'll need#
- Current full-time enrollment in an undergraduate, master’s, or PhD program at an accredited four-year college or university.
- Programming experience in Golang and/or C++.
- Minimum 2.7 GPA or equivalent.
- Bilingual proficiency in French and English.
- Ability to work 40 hours per week.
- Familiarity with AI and automation concepts, as well as integration technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, REST, Helm, Jenkins, Spinnaker, JSON, and GitLab.
- Experience with tools such as Git, Artifactory, Maven, Gradle, and databases like Neo4J.
