About the role#
We are hiring for our 2027 Summer Internship Program. This role provides exposure to the mapping and surveying industries and shows how they relate to engineering. You will meet with senior leadership to discuss career goals and have access to our internal resources. This is a paid, full-time summer position.
What you'll do#
- Support engineering staff with project progression.
- Assist with construction specifications and engineering calculations.
- Help with drafting tasks as needed.
- Participate in site visits to see work in progress.
- Receive one-on-one mentorship and participate in weekly feedback sessions.
- Learn to use engineering software such as M-FAD and PLS-CADD.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a Sophomore, Junior, Senior, or Masters student.
- Major in Civil, Environmental, Construction, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher is preferred.
- Strong verbal and technical writing skills.
- Authorization to work in the U.S.

- This internship is located on-site in Lakewood or Loveland, Colorado.
- The term runs during the summer of 2027 for a duration of 2 to 3 months.
