About the role#
Etegent Technologies hires co-ops to work on research projects across several fields. You will work alongside our researchers to solve customer problems. Tasks change based on the specific project and your personal skills or interests. Many of our current full-time engineers started as co-ops here.
What you'll do#
- Develop solutions to solve customer problems.
- Work with researchers to implement new technology.
- Create performance models for autonomous systems.
- Assist with projects involving radar, lidar, and hyperspectral data.
- Build tools to find insights in large data sets.
What you'll need#
- Exposure to Python and Git.
- Knowledge of data structures and program design.
- Comfort working in Linux environments.
- Ability to travel to our Beavercreek office at least 3 times a week.
- Exposure to ML/AI frameworks like PyTorch or TensorFlow.
- Familiarity with statistical computing packages such as NumPy or Scikit-Learn.
- Exposure to Computer Vision concepts and statistical pattern recognition.
- Experience with visual interfaces like plotly or web design is a plus.
