About the role#
Integra FEC is looking for PhD students to join our team as Data Scientist Interns for the summer of 2027. You will work on identifying and analyzing fraud across sectors like finance, healthcare, and cryptocurrency. This role is based on-site in Austin, Texas.
What you'll do#
- Write software to automate internal processes.
- Collect and scrape large data sets.
- Run advanced econometric analysis to support our investigations.
- Work on both individual and team-based projects.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a PhD program.
- Familiarity with scripting languages such as R, SQL, or Python.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and a focus on the big picture.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Commitment to high ethical standards.
