About the role#
Ferguson Construction hires architecture students for a co-op position during the Winter and Spring 2027 terms. You will work directly with our Managing Architect and design staff in our Sidney, Ohio office. This role focuses on the design-build process, allowing you to see projects move from initial concepts to construction. We expect you to work on-site full-time.
What you'll do#
- Design, draft, and assemble preliminary and construction documents using AutoCAD and Revit.
- Create 3D models, renderings, and animations with Revit and Enscape to help clients visualize projects.
- Provide input on design and detailing for various building types.
- Collaborate with architectural and civil designers, estimators, site superintendents, construction crews, and clients.
- Take on independent design tasks for additions and new buildings based on your proficiency.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Architecture.
- Ability to commute daily to our office in Sidney, Ohio.
- Strong problem solving skills.
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite is preferred.
- An understanding of construction processes is a plus.
