About the role#
The Undergraduate Engineering Intern supports technical projects and daily operations through design work, data analysis, and documentation. You will work with teams across engineering, manufacturing, operations, and quality. This is a paid, full-time internship for Summer 2027. You will receive hands-on training and participate in a professional development program designed to build career skills.
What you'll do#
- Support technical design and documentation, including CAD models, drawings, and bills of materials.
- Collect and analyze data, review test results, identify trends, and prepare reports.
- Assist engineering laboratories, manufacturing, and shop-floor teams with testing and production support.
- Contribute to quality, safety, root-cause problem solving, and process standardization.
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, quality, materials, and project management teams.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechatronics, or a related engineering discipline.
- Must be entering your junior or senior year in the Fall following the internship.
- Cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and comfort working in laboratory and manufacturing settings.
Location & details#
- This is an on-site role available in Irving, TX; Bethlehem, PA; Kalamazoo, MI; Chesapeake, VA; Lynchburg, VA; Taneytown, MD; Raleigh, NC; Houston, TX; and Springville, UT.
- The internship runs from May through August 2027.
- This position does not offer visa sponsorship.
