About the role#
This is a paid, full-time internship for the Winter 2027 term. You will work on-site in our Jersey City office from October to December. The role is designed to help you build business acumen while contributing to our investment operations.
What you'll do#
- Calculate cashflows, risk metrics, and analytics for structured and other investment assets.
- Develop quantitative tools and models to evaluate investment opportunities.
- Collaborate with Investment Managers and internal teams to support portfolio strategies and recommendations.
- Participate in due diligence for potential asset acquisitions.
- Prepare compliance and performance reports to ensure adherence to investment guidelines.
- Support the onboarding of new reinsurance deals and asset managers, including data validation and portfolio setup.
- Maintain data quality across systems and resolve discrepancies.
- Create presentation materials for senior management regarding investment performance and risk.
- Build and enhance automated dashboards and reporting tools.
What you'll need#
- You are a rising senior pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or Data Science.
- Proficiency in Python and SQL is required.
- You must have advanced Excel skills.
- Familiarity with data science techniques is expected.
- A willingness to work toward a CFA designation is preferred.
- Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
