About the role#
The Marketing Intern joins our Summer 2027 program at our headquarters in Richardson, Texas. This is a paid, full-time opportunity designed to provide hands-on experience in social media, content development, and brand marketing. You will work directly with our teams to learn how a global lifestyle brand connects with consumers through strategy and creative execution.
What you'll do#
- Support the development and execution of social media content and campaigns.
- Assist with social media calendars, content planning, and organizing campaign materials.
- Research emerging social, cultural, and consumer trends to identify new opportunities.
- Monitor brand activity and conduct competitive research.
- Research potential creator and influencer partnerships.
- Support content creation and organization across our social channels.
- Assist with social reporting and performance analysis.
- Collaborate with Brand, Creative, PR, and other marketing teams.
- Support the creation of presentations, creative briefs, and campaign materials.
- Partner with a dedicated mentor for professional guidance.
- Participate in workshops, lunch and learns, and panel discussions.
- Present a capstone project to Fossil leadership.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor or Master degree with a graduation date between Spring 2027 and Spring 2028.
- Pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, or Business Administration.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects at once.
- Creative thinker with a sharp eye for detail.
- Familiarity with major social media platforms and current digital trends.
- Comfortable researching trends and turning insights into ideas.
- Interest in fashion, lifestyle brands, and consumer culture.
- Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or social media analytics tools is a plus.
