    About the role#

    Fried Frank is hiring a Paralegal Intern for the Fall 2026 term. This role supports a team specializing in derivatives and structured products. You will work with attorneys and paralegals to assist with legal representation for investment banks and asset management firms. This position provides exposure to securities law, tax law, equity derivative sales, and asset management.

    What you'll do#

    • Draft closing documents by incorporating economic terms.
    • Compile and consolidate legal documents by summarizing transactional history.
    • Assist with filing deals with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.
    • Maintain records of client deal history and update data systems to track daily deal launches.
    • Use firm document management systems and databases to organize privileged information.

    What you'll need#

    • Enrollment at a four-year college or university with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5. Preferred majors include Economics, Finance, or related fields.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills and a clear interest in financial markets.
    • Ability to work in a team and manage projects independently.
    • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
    • Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task.

    Location & details#

    • Location: New York, New York.
    • Work Modality: On-site.
    • Schedule: Approximately 15-20 hours per week, with at least one day in the office preferred.
    • Status: This is a paid, part-time internship. Sponsorship is not available for this role.
