    About the role#

    This internship provides exposure to aerospace systems and defense projects. You will build technical skills by working on real-world problems related to commercial and military applications. The role involves working with engine controls, electrical power systems, and software requirements. You will gain experience through a mix of design, analysis, and simulation tasks. This position is a full-time opportunity for Summer 2027.

    What you'll do#

    • Develop engine controls and analyze electrical power systems.
    • Write software requirements and conduct software testing.
    • Develop simulations and engineering tools.
    • Provide support for products and ongoing programs.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment in a full-time, nationally accredited baccalaureate or graduate engineering program in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
    • Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA on a 4.0 scale.
    • US Citizenship is required for this role.
    • Reliable transportation, as public transit is often unavailable at these sites.
    • Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.

    • This is an on-site position located in Grand Rapids, Michigan, or Clearwater, Florida.
    • This is a paid internship.
