About the role#
General Dynamics Mission Systems is hiring an Intern Engineer to join the Strategic Weapon Control team. You will work on technical projects that support national defense services and contribute to missions that protect the country. This is a full-time, paid internship based in Pittsfield, Massachusetts.
What you'll do#
- Apply your classroom knowledge to real-world programs.
- Collaborate with engineering teams on core mission projects.
- Gain experience by working alongside technical professionals.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an accredited degree program for Computer, Systems, Software, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering (or a related technical discipline).
- A standing of sophomore or higher is preferred.
- A thorough understanding of engineering technology.
- U.S. citizenship is required.
- A Department of Defense Secret security clearance is preferred at the time of hire. Candidates must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
