About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027 based in Pasadena, Texas. You will work on-site at our chemical manufacturing facility as part of a design team. You will handle mechanical engineering tasks and project execution while working alongside cross-functional teams.
What you'll do#
- Review drawings to verify manufacturability and functionality.
- Help the production team with standard engineering concerns.
- Solve a range of engineering problems.
- Manage and execute assigned small projects.
- Follow and support all plant safety policies, procedures, and training.
- Use engineering design tools and contribute to team goals.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a Junior or Senior in an accredited Mechanical Engineering or related undergraduate program.
- Minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Attention to detail and a focus on high-quality work.
- Ability to follow directions and complete tasks independently.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is preferred.

- Location: Pasadena, Texas.
- This role is on-site at a chemical processing facility.
- You may be required to work different shifts.
- Physical requirements include wearing personal protective equipment, walking in industrial areas, and lifting up to 10 pounds.
