About the role#
GreenStone Farm Credit Services is hiring a Client Support Intern for the Summer 2027 term. This is a full-time, paid position based on-site in East Lansing, Michigan. You will work directly with hardware and software solutions while supporting IT services for our team.
What you'll do#
- Repair, test, image, and clean hardware including laptops, monitors, and printers.
- Install and troubleshoot software and computer peripherals.
- Manage end-user issues using a ticketing system.
- Contribute to and use a departmental knowledge base to help resolve technical requests.
- Teach end users how to operate and maintain their systems.
- Build and maintain positive customer relationships.
- Collaborate with the team on projects to improve IT support services.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a bachelor degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related IT field.
- Sophomore status or above with a minimum GPA of 3.00.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
- A self-motivated attitude and a desire to learn.
- An interest in or background in agriculture is preferred.
