    About the role#

    As a Roadway Engineering Intern II, you will work within our Transportation Business Group. You will gain practical experience while working on projects that support mobility and infrastructure. This position allows you to work under the direct supervision of a professional or Project Manager to learn standard engineering techniques.

    What you'll do#

    • Apply standard engineering techniques and procedures to project tasks.
    • Gain real-world experience on transportation projects.
    • Connect with recent graduates and company leaders through mentoring and young professionals programs.
    • Perform assignments under the guidance of a Project Manager.
    • Handle other duties as assigned.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate Engineering program.
    • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
    • Basic Microsoft Office skills.
    • Attention to detail.
    • A commitment to participating in our employee-owned culture.
    • Completion of at least one year as an HDR intern is required.
    • Preference is given to those who have completed two years toward a civil engineering degree with a 3.0 or higher GPA.
    • Local candidates are preferred.

    • The position is on-site.
    • This is a full-time, paid internship with a rolling term.
