About the role#
As a Chemist Intern, you will work on research and development projects to support our chemical manufacturing operations. You will gain hands-on experience by working alongside scientists and engineers on real business challenges. This position is based in The Woodlands, Texas, and requires on-site attendance.
What you'll do#
- Conduct laboratory synthesis, formulation, testing, and analytical work.
- Support new product development and technology projects.
- Perform literature reviews and technical research.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret experimental data.
- Prepare technical reports and presentations.
- Operate and maintain laboratory instrumentation and testing equipment.
- Partner with scientists, engineers, and business teams to support innovation initiatives.
- Contribute to safe laboratory operations and EHS programs.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Polymer Science, Materials Science, or a related technical discipline.
- You are a Junior, Senior, or Master's student.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0 is preferred.
- You have demonstrated laboratory experience.
- You possess strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving abilities.
- You have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
