    About the role#

    This Engineering Co-Op position provides practical work experience on engineering projects at our Lubbock, Texas site. You will report to the Engineering Manager and work with staff to maintain workload balances and support branch team success. This is a full-time, paid role covering the Winter and Summer 2027 terms, running from January through August.

    What you'll do#

    • Provide technical analysis for assigned projects.
    • Assist with the implementation of capital projects and maintenance activities.
    • Investigate and implement process improvements focused on cost savings and cycle time reduction.
    • Identify and carry out opportunities for energy reduction and sustainability.
    • Perform engineering clerical duties and provide support to other departments as needed.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment in an accredited university pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.
    • Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
    • Experience with AutoCAD and Microsoft Project.
    • Good presentation and leadership skills are preferred, as you may have the opportunity to lead installation crews on capital projects.
