About the role#
Iconica is looking for an Architectural Technician Intern to join our team for the summer of 2026 or 2027. You will work alongside our architectural staff to gain hands-on experience in project planning and execution from concept to completion. This is a full-time, paid, on-site position based in Madison, Wisconsin.
What you'll do#
- Assist with schematic design, design development, and construction documents.
- Collaborate with engineering and construction teams to support project coordination.
- Attend client meetings and help develop presentations.
- Participate in site visits to observe construction progress and see how designs are implemented in the field.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an Architectural Technology or Architecture program.
- Previous internship experience in design-build, construction, or architecture.
- Familiarity with Revit or BIM360.
- Leadership experience in student organizations or extracurriculars.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Initiative, curiosity, and an eagerness to learn.
