    About the role#

    iDE is looking for a Fund Development Intern to support our team in Denver, Colorado. You will assist with prospect research, data management, and donor engagement efforts. This position offers a view into how an international development organization secures funding and manages donor relationships. You will work 10 hours per week for a term of 3 to 6 months, with the potential to extend. This is an unpaid internship.

    What you'll do#

    • Research current and potential donors by vetting and sharing information with staff.
    • Manage data and organize records within Salesforce.
    • Research, prospect, and evaluate conferences.
    • Attend and present at weekly strategy sessions to support fundraising outreach.
    • Provide support for fundraising programs, including Corporate Partnerships and Legacy initiatives.

    What you'll need#

    • Proficiency in Google Suite, MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
    • Strong writing, editing, and formatting skills.
    • Experience conducting internet research.
    • Ability to communicate clearly with team members.
    • Experience with Salesforce is preferred.
    • A self-motivated approach and the ability to multitask.

    • This role is remote.
    • We welcome applicants from Business Administration, Communications, Political Science, and International Relations backgrounds.
