About the role#
We are seeking a Supply Planning Intern to join our team for the summer. You will work directly with Supply Planners and Finance partners to optimize accounts payable workflows, improve supplier visibility, and build operational dashboards. This is a hands-on role focused on solving supply chain challenges and creating lasting process improvements.
What you'll do#
- Analyze historical Accounts Payable hold data to identify root causes and design a proactive audit checklist to resolve invoice mismatches.
- Map current vendor communication channels to identify gaps and establish a standardized process for real-time promise date visibility.
- Audit and clean up aging data elements in the ERP system, such as legacy purchase orders and outdated lead times, to improve MRP accuracy.
- Create clear standard operating procedures for tracking methods and validation workflows to ensure smooth handoffs to the team.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Analytics, Operations, or a related field.
- Graduation date no later than December 2029.
- Proficiency in Excel, including VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, and Pivot Tables.
- Comfort working with large datasets to identify patterns and distill insights.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with ERP systems like SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite and BI tools like Power BI or Tableau is a plus.
