About the role#
The Land Development Student Worker supports the Division by assisting with financial modeling, due diligence, and operational tasks. You will help maintain project budgets and assist with the formation and management of HOAs. This is a paid, part-time role based in our Dallas office.
What you'll do#
- Assist with financial forecasting and modeling.
- Create and maintain pro formas, budgets, and cash flows.
- Conduct and organize financial, economic, demographic, and market research for development opportunities.
- Support the Division by collecting due diligence materials and tracking critical dates.
- Prepare summaries for land and builder contracts.
- Review and manage builder architectural review requests.
- Coordinate the formation and implementation of HOAs and serve as a member on multiple boards.
What you'll need#
- High School Diploma and current enrollment in a university.
- Pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Economics.
- Working knowledge of MS Office products, specifically Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work at least 29 hours per week.
