About the role#
As an LSS Project Leader Co-op, you will work within the Patient Care Solution segment to practice structured, critical thinking. You will help clarify project goals, define success metrics, and drive execution alongside cross-functional teams. You will be mentored by an experienced Program Manager or Lead Program Integrator to build skills in project planning, resource coordination, and risk management.
What you'll do#
- Break down ambiguous problem statements into clear definitions and deliverables.
- Create and maintain project plans that include milestones, owners, and dependencies.
- Define measurable outcomes and track progress using data.
- Apply structured problem-solving methods to identify root causes.
- Coordinate projects across LSS and partner teams to remove blockers.
- Maintain logs for risks, issues, and decisions.
- Facilitate status communication for team members and leadership.
- Partner with business and technical leaders to clarify requirements.
- Prepare briefings that capture problem context, options, and results.
What you'll need#
- Full-time student pursuing a degree in Computer, Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or Business Administration.
- Strong academic performance.
- Experience writing problem statements, defining goals, and outlining plans.
- Leadership experience in projects, teams, clubs, or community settings.
- Demonstrated initiative and a results-oriented mindset.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Ability to work a minimum of 28 weeks at 40 hours per week.
