    About the role#

    As a Supplier Quality and Development Engineering Co-op, you will work within the Anesthesia and Respiratory Care business. You will partner with suppliers and cross-functional teams to improve product quality, lower supply chain risk, and drive operational excellence. This role provides hands-on experience in supplier management, quality systems, and manufacturing operations within the medical device industry.

    What you'll do#

    • Support strategic improvement initiatives and day-to-day quality operations.
    • Work on projects to improve supplier performance, reduce defects, and enhance process efficiency.
    • Monitor supplier certifications and maintain quality metrics and dashboards.
    • Assist with supplier communications and corrective action follow-up.
    • Use data analytics, automation, and digital tools to simplify processes and improve team efficiency.
    • Balance routine operational tasks with project-based assignments.

    What you'll need#

    • Current full-time enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program in Industrial, Mechanical, Biomedical, or Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business, or a related field.
    • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis.
    • Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work independently or in teams.
    • A minimum GPA of 3.0.
    • Ability to work for at least 28 weeks.
    • Prior internship or co-op experience in manufacturing, engineering, quality, supply chain, or research is preferred.
    • Experience with Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps, VBA, SQL, Python, or AI tools is a plus.
    • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and a willingness to take ownership of assignments.
