    About the role#

    As a Research & Development Engineering Co-op, you will join the WATCHMAN division to work on next-generation medical devices. You will support the development of technologies designed to improve patient outcomes and assist with therapy education and clinical evidence gathering.

    What you'll do#

    • Design, fabricate, and prototype new device concepts based on clinical feedback.
    • Develop new test methods to evaluate device performance.
    • Work alongside product development teams on device testing and development tasks.
    • Research and analyze clinical and market data to identify new opportunities.
    • Review procedural images and data to create educational assets for internal and external teams.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment in a bachelor’s or dual master’s degree program in Biomedical or Mechanical Engineering.
    • Graduation date between Fall 2027 and Spring 2029.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
    • Ability to commit to the full program period from May 17, 2027, to August 17, 2027.
    • Eligibility to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship.
    • Reliable transportation for your daily commute.

    Location & details#

    • This position is based in Maple Grove, Minnesota.
    • The role is on-site, requiring presence in the office five days per week.
    • This is a paid, full-time internship for Summer 2027.
