About the role#
As an Operations Management Leadership Program intern, you will gain hands-on experience by working on projects within our core business areas, including Medical Imaging, Information Technologies, and Patient Monitoring. This program prepares you for a future career in operations leadership through exposure to real-world challenges and collaborative teamwork.
What you'll do#
- Take on high-impact projects to develop your technical and leadership skills.
- Address material shortages and improve materials planning in Fulfillment.
- Collaborate with engineering teams and suppliers to drive productivity and reduce costs in Sourcing.
- Implement process improvements on the shop floor using Lean Manufacturing principles.
- Support safety initiatives and regulatory compliance within Environmental Health and Safety.
What you'll need#
- Current full-time enrollment in an undergraduate program at an accredited college or university, with plans to return to school after the internship.
- Availability for at least 10 weeks during Summer 2027.
- Degree pursuit in Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, or Environmental Engineering, EHS, Public Health, Supply Chain, or Operations Management.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Demonstrated leadership, initiative, and the ability to work both independently and in teams.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
We prefer candidates with a GPA of 2.85 or higher, prior experience in manufacturing or supply chain, and familiarity with Lean principles.
Location & details#
This is a full-time, paid internship. Roles are based in multiple U.S. locations, including Waukesha, West Milwaukee, and Wauwatosa, Wisconsin; Florence, South Carolina; Arlington Heights, Illinois; Warrensville Heights and Aurora, Ohio; Salt Lake City, Utah; Phoenix, Arizona; and Noblesville, Indiana. Some roles may be remote. Relocation assistance is available for those who qualify.
