About the role#
This Summer 2026 internship provides exposure to the broadcast media industry. You will gain hands-on experience by rotating through various radio functions or focusing on a specific area such as sales, programming, or events. This is a paid, part-time, on-site position based in Latham, New York.
What you'll do#
- Rotate through different departments or focus on a specific functional area.
- Conduct research and data analysis.
- Assist with general office tasks and administrative duties.
- Prepare and deliver reports as required by your team.
- Learn key job processes and requirements within your assigned function.
- Collaborate with other interns on specific projects.
What you'll need#
- Must be a full-time undergraduate student entering your Junior or Senior year at a four-year college.
- Maintain a minimum 3.2 GPA.
- Pursuing a degree in Communications, Marketing, or Journalism is preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to proofread and edit.
- Strong planning and organizational skills with a focus on meeting deadlines and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and social media platforms.
- Professionalism and a collaborative mindset.
- Previous work experience in the media field is a plus.
- You must provide a college transcript and a letter from your school confirming you will receive academic credit for the internship.
