About the role#
Insuresoft offers an internship where you build software used by actual customers. You will learn how business and technology integrate in a professional environment. You will work on real projects, learn how enterprise software is released, and see how your contributions fit into the broader goals of the company.
What you'll do#
- Create, maintain, and debug automated test cases across various environments and customer setups.
- Develop web applications for carriers, agencies, and consumers based on project specifications, with guidance from full-time developers.
- Work alongside a team of .NET Developers, Database Developers, QA staff, Business Analysts, and Project Managers.
- Build a working knowledge of product functionality and configurability.
- Use internal tools to track defects and project progress.
- Learn about release schedules and product lifecycles.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a B.A. or B.S. program for Computer Science, MIS, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- The ability to reason logically and propose solutions to technical challenges.
- A strong work ethic and the ability to deliver work under deadlines.
