About the role#
KBRA is hiring interns for the Corporate, Financial, and Government (CFG) Ratings team for a 10-week program running from June 2 through August 5, 2027. This is a full-time, paid position based in New York. You will support credit rating teams across sectors including insurance, project finance, sovereigns, and transportation.
What you'll do#
- Gather, input, and analyze data to support team operations.
- Assist with surveillance and new issuance deal workflows.
- Help analysts prepare credit committee materials.
- Test analytical models and tools.
- Draft sample credit reports.
- Present mock transactions in committee settings.
- Complete a capstone project for presentation to senior staff.
What you'll need#
- Undergraduate concentration in finance, accounting, business, economics, or real estate.
- Proficiency in Excel.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- A strong desire to learn data and finance analysis.
- Familiarity with Generative AI tools is a plus.

- Location: New York, New York.
- Modality: Hybrid, with in-office attendance required Monday through Thursday.
- Pay: $26 per hour.
