About the role#
Kershner Trading Group offers a summer internship for college students interested in a professional equities trading career. This program provides an introduction to intraday equities trading. You will gain exposure to our trading workflows and demonstrate your skills in a professional setting. The program is a summer-long commitment based in our Austin office.
What you'll do#
- Participate in an intraday equities trading program throughout the summer.
- Engage with either discretionary or quantitative trading and coding workflows.
- Demonstrate your work ethic and problem-solving skills in a live trading environment.
What you'll need#
- You are a current US college student.
- You have a strong interest in markets and trading.
- You possess creative problem-solving skills and unusual attention to detail.
- You can multitask and work well under pressure.
- Preferred majors include Finance, Computer Science, Economics, Mathematics, or Statistics.

- Location: Austin, Texas.
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Modality: This is an on-site, full-time position.
- Compensation: This internship is unpaid. We can work with your university to help you receive academic credit.
