About the role#
Kimley-Horn is hiring a Mechanical Engineering Intern to join our Chicago office. This is a full-time, paid, on-site position. You will work with our Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing team to support large scale HVAC design projects. These projects vary and may include airports, universities, and other facilities.
What you'll do#
- Use technical software to analyze, produce, and check deliverables for clients.
- Solve complex problems and assist project managers with their daily tasks.
- Collaborate with team members across different disciplines.
- Learn federal, state, and local regulations along with company procedures.
- Perform general mechanical engineering tasks as needed.
What you'll need#
- You must be currently pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET accredited program.
Location & details#
- Location: Chicago, Illinois.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Pay: $30 to $31 per hour.
