About the role#
We are hiring a Transportation Planning Intern to join our team in Raleigh, North Carolina. This is a paid, full-time, on-site position. You will work on a variety of projects that involve pre-construction planning, permitting, and analysis.
What you'll do#
- Assist project managers with complex problem-solving and cross-disciplinary collaboration.
- Evaluate development proposals to check for zoning compliance.
- Prepare land use and planning studies.
- Coordinate tasks with state and municipal agencies.
- Learn federal, state, and local regulations along with internal project standards.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited bachelor or master degree program.
- Pursuing a degree in Urban Planning, City and Regional Planning, Transportation Planning, or a related field.
