About the role#
Lewis Brisbois is hiring a litigation associate attorney for the Garden City office. This position focuses on defending condo and coop boards. You will handle inter-building disputes involving property damage, as well as allegations regarding building governance and fiduciary duty.
What you'll do#
- Manage all phases of litigation.
- Draft and review pleadings.
- Conduct legal research and analysis.
- Handle motion practice.
- Provide oral advocacy.
What you'll need#
- One to seven years of experience defending condo and coop boards.
- Experience with inter-building property damage disputes.
- Experience with claims of breaches of building governance and fiduciary duty.
- Admission to the New York Bar.
- Strong writing, analytical, and research skills.
- Excellent communication abilities.

- Location: Garden City, New York.

- Compensation: $135,000 to $175,000 per year.
