About the role#
This internship is part of the DoD SkillBridge program. It is designed for service members in their final 180 days of active duty. The goal is to provide the training and experience necessary to transition into a full-time Warehouse Supervisor role at Lineage. You will learn our processes, work with our teams, and develop your leadership skills in a warehouse environment. This is a 90 to 120 day program.
What you'll do#
- Supervise, train, and provide feedback to direct reports to maintain productivity and efficiency.
- Manage operational procedures for incoming and outgoing shipments, merchandise organization, and inventory.
- Plan production schedules and allocate resources while maintaining accurate time and production records.
- Track warehouse activities including sales, record control, and purchasing to ensure product availability.
- Prepare and send reports to designated plant personnel.
- Resolve employee issues and maintain communication across the organization.
- Operate machinery and material handling equipment.
What you'll need#
- Eligibility to participate in the DoD SkillBridge program per DODI 1322.29.
- Two years of leadership experience in a warehouse or logistics setting.
- Experience using a Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Strong conflict management skills.
- Ability to work in temperatures ranging from -20 Fahrenheit in cold storage to 100 Fahrenheit in dry storage while wearing required protective gear.
- Ability to lift at least 40 pounds.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends.
- Comfort working in environments with varying noise levels.

- This is a full-time, on-site role.
- Locations include Baltimore, MD; Charleston, SC; McDonough, GA; North Charleston, SC; Jacksonville, FL; Albany, GA; Gaston, SC; and Lafayette, IN.
