About the role#
This summer internship provides experience within the Business Intelligence department at Love's Travel Stops. You will work on projects that support our business operations and gain exposure to a corporate environment through mentorship, executive Q&A sessions, and professional training. This is a full-time, paid position based in Oklahoma City.
What you'll do#
- Build, validate, and maintain dashboards for business stakeholders.
- Reconcile dashboard outputs against source tables to ensure data accuracy.
- Research and organize data-driven insights related to sales, fuel, food service, and truck care.
- Assist with recurring reporting workflows and look for ways to automate manual tasks.
- Manage confidential business and financial information with discretion.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a four-year university program as a sophomore or higher.
- Pursuit of a degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Management Information Systems, Statistics, or a related field.
- Familiarity with Excel, SQL, Snowflake, or Tableau.
- Strong communication, listening, and critical thinking skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous internship experience is helpful but not required.
