About the role#
The FAR Program Finance Internship is a 10-week paid summer experience. You will support one of our core finance teams, such as Advisor M&A, Financial Planning & Analysis, or Treasury. This is not a rotational role. You will work within a single team for the duration of the summer to gain technical expertise and real-world experience.
What you'll do#
- Support a core finance team with relevant work assignments.
- Participate in group projects tailored to your interests.
- Engage in networking opportunities with business leaders.
- Attend mentorship sessions, career workshops, and wellness seminars.
- Participate in social events and community involvement opportunities.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a sophomore or junior pursuing a bachelor’s degree.
- A minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Basic knowledge of finance and accounting, including financial statements, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel and other Office 365 platforms.
- Leadership experience gained through student organizations, internships, or projects.
- Preference for majors in finance or accounting.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, on-site position based in Fort Mill, South Carolina, or Charlotte, North Carolina.
- The internship runs from June 1, 2027, to August 6, 2027.
- You must be available to work 40 hours per week during business hours.
- We are unable to provide sponsorship for this position.
