About the role#
As an R&D Chemist Intern, you will work with our R&D and Quality teams to support projects and special initiatives. You will gain hands-on experience in day-to-day laboratory operations. This role is designed to provide technical training and practical experience that may lead to future full-time opportunities as a Lab Technician.
What you'll do#
- Work with the R&D team to execute department goals.
- Support laboratory testing work.
- Prepare and maintain accurate lab notes.
- Assist in generating reports and presentations for the technical team.
- Participate in rotations between the R&D Laboratory and factory locations.
What you'll need#
- You are actively pursuing a bachelor’s or graduate degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field. Juniors and seniors are preferred.
- Strong communication skills.
- Initiative, curiosity, and an innovative mindset.
- A strong motivation to learn and succeed.
- A willingness to travel.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027, running for 12 weeks from May through August.
- You will work 40 hours per week.
- Host locations include Swedesboro, New Jersey; Deerfield Beach, Florida; Calhoun, Georgia; and Garland, Texas.
- This position is on-site.
