About the role#
Labcorp is looking for an Immunology Lab Research Assistant Intern to join the Immunology and Flow Cytometry Team. This is a full-time, 11-week paid internship running from June 1, 2027, to August 13, 2027. You will work on-site in Burlington, North Carolina, for 40 hours per week.
What you'll do#
- Perform technical and non-technical protocols according to established procedures.
- Learn department-specific operations and contribute to cross-functional teams.
- Generate consistent results, conduct analyses, and maintain an accurate experimental notebook.
- Attend training sessions to learn process development.
- Present your accomplishments to scientists and senior management at the end of the program.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s degree program in Biology, Chemistry, Biotechnology, or Biological Science.
- Completion of coursework in introductory Immunology.
- At least 1 year of experience in a clinical or relevant lab setting.
- 6 to 12 months of experience using literature, search engines, or databases for research.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate with colleagues and follow laboratory procedures with attention to detail.
- Eagerness to learn new scientific concepts and laboratory skills.
