About the role#
Marten Transport is hiring a Supply Chain Intern to join our team in Colonial Heights, Virginia. This is a full-time, paid, on-site internship with a rolling start date. We are looking for students pursuing degrees in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or Business Administration who want to gain experience in the trucking industry.
What you'll do#
Interns work directly with our management and operations teams. You will be placed in either the Dry Van or Regional Truckload Division to gain real-world experience. Your responsibilities include:
- Learning how to lead professional drivers.
- Building and maintaining relationships with our customers.
- Supporting various facets of our daily organization.
What you'll need#
We require a hands-on approach and the ability to manage multiple tasks at once. You must be comfortable working in an environment that moves quickly.
Location & details#
This position is located in Colonial Heights, VA. It is an on-site role. We do not provide sponsorship for this position.
