About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship at Marten Transport. You will work on-site in Edwardsville, Kansas. This role is a rolling position designed to provide hands-on experience within the trucking industry. You will gain exposure to the daily operations of a transportation company and support various parts of the organization.
What you'll do#
- Train with our management and operations teams in the Dry Van or Regional Truckload Divisions.
- Learn how to lead professional drivers.
- Build relationships with our customers.
- Contribute to daily tasks and support multiple areas of the business.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Supply Chain Management or Operations Management program.
- Ability to maintain a drug-free workplace.
- Completion of pre-employment substance abuse testing.
